Nyrene Crowley
Programme Co-ordinator, Onehunga Community Centre

Nyrene lives in Panmure and graduated from AUT with a Bachelor of Communications. She has a background in community development and youth work, after being based in Mt Roskill for 3 years.
She is very excited to work alongside different groups to create a fun atmosphere of learning and connecting with others.  Outside of work her interests include Muay Thai, MMA, Creative Arts and summer sports.

Programme Coordinators are responsible for bringing the centre alive by leading and coordinating the day to day centre programme activities and events. These centre programme activities are identified as a need and want within the community. The Programme Coordinator creates strong community partnerships that link back into programme delivery.


Taylor Norman
Place Manager, Maungakiekie-Tamaki

Taylor Norman studied AUT University and completed a double major in Management and Physical Health and Activity. He enjoys working in the community with various community groups and cultures. He is passionate about health and wellbeing and loves to keep active by exploring different bush walks around Auckland.

The Place Manager is responsible for overall facility management of the centre and oversees the strategic direction and vision to ensure that the facility, programmes, events and hireable spaces are well used and participated by the local community.
