The Onehunga Art Group runs every Wednesday morning from 9.30am - 12pm. A social art group that is facilitated by local artist Keith Harford. Whether its the first time you've picked up a pencil or you have been an artist your whole life, come along and join in this awesome free class.
S.C.E.N.E stands for Senior Citizens Events 'N' Expeditions and is a senior citizens social group that runs every Friday afternoon at the Pearce Street Hall (behind the Community Centre) from 12pm - 2.30pm. Suitable for people over the age of 60.
Come on along on Friday afternoons for $2 and enjoy your choice from a variety of activities including; indoor bowls, card games or scrabble. Or you can grab one of the magazines while socialising with other participants! Then finish the afternoon with a light afternoon tea.
Also on the first Tuesday of every month there will be an event either at Pearce Street Hall or the group will travel off site for a fun day!

Tai Chi with frank suits all ages and is a moving form of Yoga and meditation. It aims at improving balance and strength and calms the mind with tranquil music.
Running every Tuesday and Friday in the Yates Room from 1.30pm - 2.30pm make sure to come along and join in! $2 per session.
This fantastic Maori Weaving class will teach you everything you need to know about weaving with Harekeke (flax). From the basics through to intermediate, then advanced. The class is suitable for everyone to learn the traditional art form of weaving and even create your own unique pieces! Come along on a Monday, beginners start at 10.30am and goes till 11.30am and intermediate and advanced students start at 11.30am and finishes at 1.30pm.

Sew Styley is a drop in sewing class where you get to work on your own personal project and get to create what ever you would like to. Rebecca can help with any style and skill level from beginners up to professional but make sure you call ahead to secure your spot for the session!

Yarns is a social knitting group facilitated by Jane who has been knitting for over 60 years!
Come along and socialise with other crafters, it doesn't matter if you have never knitted before or if you have been knitting your whole life.
